Original painting medium Duo Aqua oil on Belli Arti fine grain oil gessoed cotton canvas, stretched on to a museum quality pine stretcher bars.
My inspiration came from a terracota bust image of Christ Italian, probably sicilian, Circa 1700. I was imotionaly conected to this sculpture image and wanted to presurve it as a painting by my heand. I have tryed new teqnique to show the texture of age and preserfe the 3-D look of terracota style.
