Thanks to a client who really wanted the original painting ‘Hee & Haw’ that was already sold, I created this painting commission for this client and am extremely pleased with the outcome.
Donkeys are often unappreciated, but yet are such noble creatures. Historically and still in modern day, they are used to help with labour work due to their strength and resilience. They’re renowned for their strong will and stubbornness which in turn, displays an almost humorous side to their character. This painting was great fun for me reproduce, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
