A mount keeps your print slightly away from a frame and protects your print from damage that might result from direct contact with the glass if you choose to frame it. A mount also exhibits a polished visual break between the piece of art and the frame itself, resulting in an attractive finish. A frame with a high-quality mount, looks professional and sleek.

Llamas have long banana-shaped ears while Alpacas have shorter spear-shaped ears and you will clearly see the different shapes as well as the length. The most obvious difference between Llamas and Alpacas would have to be their size. The Llama is almost 2 times the size of the smaller Alpaca. When trying to spot the difference between Llamas and Alpacas try looking at the fibres. You can usually spot the difference between these two depending on the animal’s fluff factor. The Alpaca is a much fluffier animal in comparison to the larger Llama whose coat seems coarse. Llamas are more independent, and Farmers will actually keep Llamas to protect other livestock in the Andes mountains. Llamas are ok with other animals but will generally prefer to be left alone, whereas Alpacas are more of a herd animal, and in general just a bit friendlier than your average everyday Llama.
Understanding these differences, I strove to capture the nuances of these two creatures, distinguishing them, just as different members of a family.
