It has always been on my mind to paint a Tiger on it’s own, and recently I’ve chosen to use reference images that spoke to my heart. I’ve consciously been developing my skill of creating large animals head portraits, and I thought it was the right time to produce a large great image to satisfy my desire.

 

The inherent nature of tigers captivate me with their strength and power, being one of nature’s most feared predators. Their beautiful orange and black striped coats provide camouflage when hunting prey at night and pure magic on my canvas. The mystery and menace of this captivating species have inspired me to do several portraits portraying their magnificence and I thoroughly enjoy every moment painting them.
